Major fastener and screw supplier Non Standard Socket Screw (NSSS) is celebrating its past - and preparing for an even brighter future.
The company recently reached its 40th year of manufacturing and supplying high quality fasteners and screws to sectors such as engineering, construction and waste. From its start in 1971, the Birmingham-based company has gone on to provide products to customers across five continents. The company is now a Master Distributor and stockist for all UNBRAKO products, including the DURLOK range.
NSSS attributes this global success to a focus on continually improving what it offers its customers. It's an achievement the business is determined to build on in the future.
One important step NSSS has taken towards another successful 40 years is the recent addition of a micro-site to its main website, giving customers seamless online access to stock and ordering information for 20,000 products.
Another way in which the company is staying ahead is by investing in advanced technology and equipment so it can produce high and low volume specialist parts. Over the years NSSS has succeeded in keeping up with changing demands from businesses across the world, thanks to ongoing improvements in its manufacturing capability.
NSSS is also helping to support a more positive future for the planet by installing the latest energy management controls across its operations and recycling products such as oils, paper, cardboard and ink cartridges.
The company is seeking to broaden its customer base even further and recently exhibited at leading industry events, including the Oil & Gas Offshore Exhibition and the Recycling & Waste Management Exhibition.
